what i've been reading lately is the "It Girl" series, a spin-off of the GossipGirl books, in which Jenny goes to boarding school.. pretty good!
i only read books like that. so i have no serious adulty-like books to recommend. maybe Kite Runner or something. oh! Marley & Me. its about a dog =)
