so today marks the first day of my very last quarter at uc irvine.
it's kinda melancholy to be honest, it's not until i was kicked out and came back that i began to love this place. i'm walking away from college having learned a lot of valuable lessons, but with ever mounting regrets.
i can clearly remember so many missteps that i took, so many things that i wish i hadn't done, or could have done, and should have done.
girls i should have hollered at, teachers i should have gotten to know better, people i could have been nicer to.
i really took for granted all that i had, and that makes me a bit upset at myself.
to say that my college experience differs from that of a normal persons is no understatement, but i feel that my journey has been just as much, if not more, valuable than any other man's.
honestly, this whole process feels a bit surreal...the application for graduation, the ordering of the cap and gown, the looking ahead...
3 years ago, graduation was really an illusion of granduer for me. it literally took complete and utter failure to awaken me and help me open my eyes. i learned that more than effort, ambition is a key to success.
nothing is more dangerous than a tiger that hungers.
