Do you ever wonder..

ok, i know this is going to sound like the most sexist blog ever, and it might be, and for that i apologize in advance...

but why do chicks feel the necessity to make the biggest deal out of the smallest things? seemingly every little detail can be fodder for the drama cannon. case in point, "Myspace Top 8" a controversy regarding the social order and hierarchy of any given person. Being on the top 8, who is on your top 8, the ordering of your top 8 are all significant factors..putting one person afore another may mean they mean more to you than the person after them. this may be the case.

another point, speaking with my nukka dey dey, she confirmed that girls are very competitive, not only amongst themselves, but also with their partners. this is all good, and healthy imo, but sometimes it's a little too much! there's no need for women to turn every little thing into a who's better at what, who's day was harder, who's had the most trials and tribulations and the list goes on. either way, guys never win.

for example, this mornin on "on air" with ryan seacrest, yeah, i know, gay, fuck you, this girl actually called in to complain about how her engagement ring was "too big!" who does that? but despite that, women are cool. there's things that you ladies do that i will never understand, due to the fact that i have a Y chromosome, and i'm cool with that. you have to respect ladies for being able to deal with the monthly appointment, pregnancy, childbirth, and constant objectification. so yo, mad props ladies. i love ya'll especially my mom, maggie gyllenhaal and eva mendes. that's all for now.

blogging at work = money in the bank

the smallest things, to chicks, are bigger things to them than they are to us. this would explain why the average girl doesn't care about cars or other shit like expensive technology (tv's, stereos, video games etc.).

try to talk to a chick about how much you wanted a spoon part but got out bidded for it on ebay. they could really give a shit.

the only difference between the two of us really just comes down to story length. how long would a rant about a lost auction take to fully establish your point as a guy? a minute tops.

how long would it take a chick to describe how bad her hair was on any given day? at least five minutes. those five minutes would also lead into another 10 or 15 minute stretch about how their makeup was, who they saw that day, how they felt when they saw them, how that person is doing, where that person is going, what they ate for lunch and who they're sleeping with now. then, of course, would come a full description about how so and so pissed them off.

i can't see it as necessarily a bad thing, just different. chicks like to know what is going on around them -- that might explain why everything has a story.

interesting post. and no, i didn't even read zac's comment because i saw yours said "you're so dead for that comment" and while reading your entry, i figured zac would have something to say about it.

here is the difference:

zac talking about computers, cars, and whatever man-stuff he likes to go on about = me listening.

me talking about why no one's seen britney spears' 2nd son = zac PRETENDING to listen

that is the compromise.

i probably have more thoughts on the subject but what i really hate is when you say something like "man, i'm tired!" and the person you're talking to goes "you're tired?! I'M tired!" and then they go on to list why their day was MUCH harder than yours..! stuuupid.

and ps, in my case it is my "partner" who is more competitive, not me. if we play some game, and i beat him, we'll end up playing over and over until he beats me enough to satisfy his ego. i believe he's said "the only thing you can ever beat me at is school" haha! what an ass.
